Photos And Text : Jibran Ali
It is a story which is
expressed by some photos and is based on some heritage houses made up of
maharaja bricks costlier at that time mostly located in shere khass which
before some years were homes of some families but today they are in shambles.
Majority of the families living in these houses were pandits which migrated
from here in early nineties due to some political reasons, after that most of
the pandits sold their property to Muslims. But with the advancement and
improvement in living standard, these Muslim owners moved from shere khass to
upper town with their families leaving these houses in shambles. Now after so
many years nobody is left from these families to take care of these, their
children’s are either in other countries or they are not interested in coming
back. That is why these houses are
“Crying for care”.
